About Alan
Alan W. Stanfield is a lifelong resident of Griffin, Georgia. He is committed to preserving the rich history of Griffin while embracing the challenges of future development. Alan believes in establishing industry and business growth. While Alan believes in establishing industry and business development, he also understands that the citizens are the heart beat of any city. That is why he seeks the agendas that represent the very best for the residents. Alan will work hard to establish continuity between the city government and its’ citizens. He looks forward to the opportunity to represent the people of District 4.
Alan and his wife Kellie are the proud parents of their two year old daughter, Hayden. He and his family have been active members of the Griffin Center Point Church for over 47 years. Service to the city of Griffin has played a vital role in the Stanfield family for decades. Alan’s father, John Stanfield, retired after working for the City of Griffin Electric Department for more than 35 years. Currently, Alan serves has an instructor at Southern Crescent Technical College where he has been for the past 10 years. In addition, he has published five books and works as a free lance technical writer. Alan’s education, experience and character define the leadership required to reach the level of greatness that our citizen’s deserve.
